Emissions-Control Components

Removing, bypassing or modifying a catalytic converter, diesel particulate filter, petrol particulate filter or another emissions-control component may cause the vehicle to no longer comply with its approved emissions standard.

KaizorMotorworks does not guarantee that a modified vehicle will:

  • comply with emissions or noise limits;
  • pass a vehicle inspection or emissions test;
  • remain approved or registered for public-road use;
  • be eligible for individual approval;
  • operate without warning lights or fault codes.

Products without a catalytic converter or other required emissions-control components are intended only for lawful motorsport, racetrack, test bench, exhibition or export purposes.

Fitment Information

Vehicle compatibility information is provided using the product manufacturer’s or supplier’s specifications, catalogue data and the technical information available to us.

Fitment information is provided as accurately as possible. However, vehicle configurations can differ depending on:

  • model and body type;
  • production date;
  • model year;
  • country or sales market;
  • engine code;
  • engine output;
  • emissions standard;
  • rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive;
  • automatic or manual transmission;
  • turbocharger version;
  • flange and connection type;
  • exhaust system configuration;
  • previous vehicle modifications.

The customer must independently verify compatibility before ordering and installation.

The following information should be checked and compared with the product description:

  • exact vehicle model;
  • chassis or model code;
  • production date;
  • engine code;
  • engine output;
  • drivetrain;
  • emissions standard;
  • pipe diameter;
  • turbocharger connection;
  • flange type;
  • sensor connections;
  • existing exhaust configuration.

Where compatibility is uncertain, customers should contact us before ordering and provide the vehicle identification number, engine code, production date and clear photographs of the existing connections where required.

A vehicle being included in a compatibility list does not guarantee compatibility with every possible version, market specification or previously modified vehicle.

Inspection Before Installation

The product must be compared with the original component before installation.

Before installing, welding, cutting or modifying the product, the customer or installer must check:

  • whether the correct product was delivered;
  • whether all connections and mounting points match;
  • whether the pipe routing and dimensions are correct;
  • whether all required components are included;
  • whether there is sufficient clearance from bodywork, heat shields, wiring and other components;
  • whether the product is suitable for the intended vehicle and use.

Do not install or modify the product if the fitment appears incorrect.

Contact us at kaizormotorworks@gmail.com before installation if there is any uncertainty.

Once a product has been installed, welded, cut, scratched, used or otherwise modified, it may have suffered a reduction in value. Further information is available in our Return & Refund Policy.

This does not affect statutory rights where a product is defective, incorrectly supplied or does not conform to the purchase contract.

Installation

Installation should be carried out by a qualified workshop or a person with appropriate technical knowledge.

The installer is responsible for checking:

  • correct fitment;
  • secure mounting;
  • leak-free connections;
  • sufficient clearance;
  • correct sensor installation;
  • compliance with technical and legal requirements;
  • safe operation after installation.

After installation, all connections, fasteners and clearances should be checked before operating the vehicle.

KaizorMotorworks is not responsible for damage caused by incorrect installation, improper use, unauthorised modification, unsuitable vehicle configuration or failure to follow installation and safety requirements, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

Product Images and Technical Information

Product images may be illustrative. Minor differences in welds, surface finish, brackets, connections, logos or other production details may occur without affecting the intended function or compatibility of the product.

Dimensions and technical specifications may be subject to normal manufacturing tolerances.

Where exact measurements or a specific connection type are essential, the customer must verify these details before installation.
