Fitment, Installation & Legal Status

Wie technische Passform, Straßenzulassung, Einbau und Produktzuordnung getrennt beurteilt werden.

Fitment and road legality

Technical compatibility and legal road use are separate. A product fitting a vehicle does not mean it is approved for public-road use. Only explicit product-specific documents and legal-status information support an approval claim.

Vehicle assignment

Fitment is based on structured applications and documented manufacturer or supplier evidence. Model, chassis, production date, engine, emissions standard, drivetrain, transmission, connection type, equipment and previous modifications can all be relevant.

If required facts are unknown, the vehicle check does not provide an unconditional fitment confirmation.

Check before installation

Compare the product with the original part before installation, welding, cutting, drilling, bonding or modification. Check connections, mounting points, dimensions, routing, clearance and scope of delivery. Do not install or modify a part if there is a visible mismatch.

Professional installation

Installation should follow the displayed installation level and be carried out by a suitably qualified person or workshop. Mounting, sealing, sensor connections, clearance and safe function must be checked after installation.

Third-party parts and trademarks

Products are not original vehicle-manufacturer parts unless expressly stated. Vehicle brand and model names are used only to identify and assign compatible applications.
