Controller

The controller is Florian Schrank, trading as KAIZOR Motorworks, Schönau 125/1, 8225 Pöllau, Austria, email support@kaizor.at.

Processing principles

We process personal data only where needed to operate the shop, take steps before or perform a contract, answer an enquiry, comply with legal duties or on the basis of valid consent. Depending on the purpose, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(a), (b), (c) or (f) GDPR.

Website and technical logs

When the website is accessed, necessary connection, device, request, error and security data may be processed to deliver the site securely, diagnose faults and prevent misuse. This is based on our legitimate interest in a secure and functional shop.

Shopify, cart and checkout

Shopify supports the catalogue, cart, checkout, orders, payment status and security. Data can include contact and address details, ordered products, cart and checkout activity, payment status, shipping information, IP address and security data.

Full payment-card or online-banking credentials are generally processed directly by Shopify or the selected payment provider. We receive the transaction and status information required for fulfilment, accounting and support. See https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy.

Payments and delivery

The provider selected in checkout processes the information required for payment authorization, fraud prevention and refunds. The payment methods actually offered are shown in checkout.

For delivery, the necessary name, address, contact, order, parcel and delivery information is shared with the selected parcel, freight, fulfilment or logistics provider.

My BMW

The optional My BMW selection is normally stored locally in the browser to personalize product ordering and fitment guidance. It is linked to an identifiable enquiry only if the user actively submits vehicle details through a form or required shop process.

Contact, advice and withdrawal forms

We process information entered into contact, product-advice, best-price and withdrawal forms to handle the request, document the declaration and send required confirmations. Resend is used for technical email delivery.

Newsletter

Where enabled, newsletter registration uses double opt-in. Resend sends the confirmation email and, after confirmation, Omnisend stores the subscription and consent evidence. Consent can be withdrawn at any time through an unsubscribe link or by contacting us.

Cookies and local storage

Necessary storage technologies support cart, checkout, security, consent, language and the optional vehicle selection. Non-essential analytics or marketing technologies are activated only after consent. Consent can be changed through Cookie Settings in the footer, and rejecting is as easy as accepting.

Analytics and marketing

Only after consent and only if configured, services such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Pixel, Meta Conversions API, Triple Whale or Omnisend may process page, product, cart, checkout and purchase events, device data, campaign identifiers and order values. Consent is the legal basis.

Recipients and international transfers

Required data may be shared with infrastructure, Shopify, checkout, payment, shipping, email, support, accounting, security and consented analytics or advertising providers. Transfers outside the EEA take place only on a lawful basis such as an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards.

Retention and rights

Data is kept only for its purpose and applicable legal retention, evidence or limitation periods. Data subjects may, subject to legal conditions, request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability or object, and may withdraw consent for the future.

Requests can be sent to support@kaizor.at. Complaints may be submitted to the Austrian Data Protection Authority, Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, https://www.dsb.gv.at.
