Understand differences in flow, catalytic converter, sound, performance and road use.
CPSI describes cell density
CPSI means cells per square inch and describes the number of substrate channels per square inch. The number alone does not determine quality or actual emissions conversion; substrate area, coating, volume and temperature range also matter.
100 and 200 CPSI are not universal performance grades
Lower cell density can affect flow resistance but does not automatically create a better system. Calibration, sensors, turbocharger, pipe layout and catalyst quality all influence the result.

Classifying decat correctly
Decat means a version without a catalytic converter. It must not be treated as an approved road specification. Road-use status and emissions requirements require separate verification.
